4th International Youth Conference

“European values for the future of South-eastern European countries” – 2006

Youths in our days have very little impact on the decisions that affect their everyday lives. The fact that leaders around the region Southeast Europe do not consider this side of the region’s opinion is a problem, as youths represent more than thirty percent of the region’s population. Youth voices need to be heard.

The International Youth Conference took place from the 24th to the 26th of February,2006 at Struga, Republic of North Macedonia, with the slogan “Go on, say it out loud!”. The objective of the conference was creating a declaration that expressed the voice of the region’s youth with respect to the themes that form the axis of this event.

The conference was organized as a three-day event organized in three plenary sessions and two working groups. The focus of the plenary sessions was on the following topics: -YOUNG PEOPLE FROM SEE COUNTRIES AND THEIR ACTIVE ROLE IN THE APPROACHING OF COMUNITIES FROM THE REGION TO EU; -FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT IN EU, WHERE IS EUROPE? -OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT AND MENTALITY VALUES IN SEE. The program of the event you can find on the following link.
